Received in a trade with hopsbreath. Many, many thanks Jason.

Mostly clear golden colour with a big, creamy off-white head. Good head retention.

Bright fruity aroma with distinct orange, nectarine, stone fruit, mango, mint, coriander, light alcohol. Very nice.

Vibrant stone fruit flavour with some light malt. A thin line of acid in drawn through the middle of this beer which leads to the Muscat and Tokay notes that round out this beer. The slightly astringent herbal character and grapes on the back-palate add depth and creates a unique and intriguing beer.

Medium-light body with moderate carbonation. Smooth and delightful.

This is a delightful beer. The fruit flavour and light acid is a creative addition to a beer that has a distinct fortified wine note in the finish. Wonderful.

Thanks to Dale for sending me this beer. Very interested to try it.

A: The pour is a somewhat dark orange color with a thin off-white head.

S: I was quite surprised by the sweetness of the aroma. Lots of almost overripe fruit notes like apples, pears, and peaches. There is a heavy grape influence to the aroma, almost like an eiswine.

T: The sweet white grapes are very noticeable on the palate, too. Fairly sugary/sweet with lots of sweet fruits, again apple, pear, peach, and perhaps apricot. There is a bit of oak in there, but not much funk other than perhaps some grass and lemon zest.

M: The body is medium with a light to medium level of carbonation.

O: A really different beer, but one that I found to be pretty good.

Poured into an oversized wine glass.

Pours a clear orange color with a foamy white head that fades to some lacing.

Smells like bananas, pears, and some funk. Slight oak presence.

Tastes are very fruity and a little sweet. Ever so slight tartness. Comes across sort of like a funky tripel.

Mouthfeel is medium with some light carbonation.

Overall is a really good if not excellent beer. I've been loving the sole composition series so far and this might be my favorite yet.
