On-tap at OBF, multiple pints, OG 11, IBU 11.
Deep gold hazy body, some small visible bubbles rising to surface, one finger white head despite very full pour, pretty quick dissipation with above average lacing. Spices and yeast dominate the nose, clove and banana, some floral hop notes. Taste mirrors the nose, note the clove and banana are fairly muted, not overwhelming like many Bavarian Hefeweizens. Mouthfeel is medium, smooth, a bit creamy, leading to a fairly dry finish. This is one damn drinkable beer, while outside the brewery's usual rota I hope they brew this again. I recommended this to a number of people at the festival and they were all very impressed. Worth trying if you can find it, I'd suggest the tasting room, though I expect this was a one off just for the OBF.
