A - Poured a very dark brown, almost black with a nice creamy tan head. Amazing retention, as the head never seems to fade and steps of lacing are left on the glass as I drink.
S - Roasted malts, and a surprise of hops greets your nose. Also, some slight chocolate tones.
T - Creamy milk chocolate and some coffee follows.
D - Very creamy, and some nice hop bitterness. Higher than average carbonation for the style, with an average body.
O - Pretty hoppy, but I liked it. Very silky and creamy, but balanced with the hops.
