Pours a hazy yellow with a light white head. The nose is really nice - lemon meringue and oaky. Flavor provile matches the nose being tones of lemon, sweet lemon meringue and a hint of lemon candy. Nice.

Pours a golden color with a hint of a hazy straw backing. The aroma is sharply tart, with an underlying hint of funk. It’s the tepache smell that I’m picking up, fermented pineapple notes more than anything else. This carries to the taste with a sour tang and a mellow finish. What they are doing is interesting, different, dare I say unusual… and it works.
