Appearance - Pours cloudy and light rustic orange in color with an off-white, thick and frothy near three-finger width head. Great retention, resulting in a thin, consistent layer of suds across the surface, building up around the edges into a thick ring. Lacing for days. Mostly broken sheeting with spots found between.
Smell - A bit of a catty aroma with lesser citrus and mango.
Taste - Slightly earthy hop bitterness with a big, bready malt backbone. A touch of mango sweetness lingers beneath. Bitterness increases in the finish, leaving a fair, pithy aftertaste.
Mouthfeel - Medium-bodied with low-to-moderate carbonation. Slick, slightly creamy texture with an easy, somewhat dry finish.
Overall - This is a mango milkshake IPA? Tastes more akin to a hoppy blonde with a touch of mango. Not a terrible beer, but by no means does it measure up to the handful of milkshake IPA's have had prior.
