On draft at Ballast Point Brewery in Miramar.
Mostly comparing to regular Sculpin, this gives off a slightly different aroma. Less fruity, more earthy, but the difference is miniscule. The taste is about the same difference as well, being a bit earthier and less bright than regular Sculpin.
Not a huge change of pace different. I think I'd normally pick regular Sculpin over this unless I was eating something that didn't work as well with something sweeter. Still, a fantastic ale!

On cask at the Revenge Of Instant Replay bottleshare held at Instant Replay in Canoga Park, CA.
Pours a murky honey orange with a foamy beige head that settles to a small cap on top of the beer. Small dots of lace slowly drip into the remaining beer on the drink down. Smell is of malt, citrus fruit, citrus zest, berry, and earth aromas. Taste is much the same with sweet citrus zest, berry, and earth flavors on the finish. There is a medium amount of hop bitterness on the palate with each sip. This beer has a lower level of carbonation with a slightly crisp mouthfeel. Overall, this is a pretty good beer with a nice combination of citrus and berry hop qualities all around.
