All though I wasn't thinking about all the qualities of this beer, it was amazing! Perfect balance of spiciness. It really left you wanting more. BRING IT BACK.

Appearance: pours a hazy pale yellow color with a 1/2" head that slowly falls.

Smell: spicy tones are easily detectable.

Taste: wheat, lemon zest, orange, and some definite burn from the chilis but not overly so. Bitterness is mild.

Mouthfeel: medium bodied beer. Crisp from start to finish, with the chili heat arriving late and lasting a while on the tongue.

Overall: actually not a bad chili beer but it is a bit of a slow sipper.

On-tap 6/6/2015 at Natty Greene’s Tavern in North Attleboro, MA served in a tulip glass.

A: The beer is a cloudy gold color, with a short white head that fades slowly and leaves a thick lace on the glass.

S: The aroma contains chile pepper, wheat, citrus, coriander, light caramelized malts and a touch of hops.

T: The taste starts out with a strong hot burst of chile peppers that dominates. Then some mild flavors of lemon, coriander and ginger rotate in between the heat of the chile. There’s some breadiness from wheat and a light malt character. The hops presence is mild and provides a decent balance. The after-taste is hot and slightly bready.

M: Crisp and a little smooth, medium body, medium carbonation, finish is clean.

O: Odd combination of tastes, goes down ok, not too filling, mild kick, weird variation of style, just a mediocre beer overall.
