June 8th, 2015 - I like a blonde ale that's been twisted and tweaked until it offers something new, and that's what the Baja Blonde does. A beautiful clear and blonde color, it offers a clear and fresh aroma with a slight lemon squeeze and the fresh but chlorinated smell of a well maintained pool. Light and airy, the flavor delivers a petite dose of white grape juice sweetness but it's in the background and veiled. The palate is primarily crisp with a little apple, but nothing too strong or overwhelming; it is just enough to make this distinctive blonde.
