Tried this over at the new(ish) Ballast Point location off Miramar last night. It was one of their R&D beers, so may not be around too long. Bock brewed with cinnamon. Didn't have a lot of classic bock characteristics, but a pretty solid beer nonetheless. Cinnamon came on a bit strong, but there was a good amount of caramel malt, light chocolate and a bit of wood. Not their best offering, but a pretty solid bock. Definitely worth a try.
