September 10th, 2016 - Beer four for beer tour day is The Blunder, with a whiskey color amber body and light head. There's a little tiki in the aroma, with orange and maraschino, and an additional layer of sweetness in the form of vanilla cake. The flavor is mild considering how sweet the aroma is, but the vanilla cake makes a return to offer a gentle and whisking sweetness on the aftertaste.

Had it at the RnD TR & Kitchen and it totally worked for me...
Gorgeous amber/copper color of the Big Eye malt, awesome malt balance and hop bite in the front, middle, and back. Smell was aromatic and citrusy/piney as one would expect with the Sculpin hops. It just goes to show that when Ballast Point screws up, it tastes better than the best offering of most other breweries.
