On tap at BP Long Beach. Served in a tulip. Slightly cloudy golden yellow body. One finger white head, appropriate retention. Smell is wheat, a bit of pilsner-like malt sweetness, light apricot stonefruit and skin. Bit of caramel and lemon. Flavour is a letdown; the apricot is fairly soft and muted compared to what essentially tastes like a pilsner-y berliner weisse. No complexity to this one, a bit watery and thin with a minimal lemon zest finish. Overall, this beer's description makes it taste far better than it actually is.

4 ounce taster at the Home Brew Mart in San Diego a few weeks ago, reviewed from notes,

A-Golden orange with hints of red, 1/2 inch bubbly white head that settled quickly, not much retention, no lacing

S-Apricots, more on the pale ale side than a traditional sour, no vinegar or tart in the aroma, some lemon, and sweet malt

T-Expected this to be more lively and sour since the guy that filled my beer said it was a wild ale but I beg to differ, first taste some faint hoppiness, then some sweet malt and fruity apricot in the middle, then the finish was pretty weak with a hint of dryness, did not get close to being sour until my last sip after it had warmed in my hand, not much else going on and was pretty boring overall

M-Slightly sour but more sweet mouthfeel, thin to medium body, tons of carbonation, taste did not last long

D-Could have drank a couple pints of this but I had to drive home that day, smooth and goes down easy, low ABV, alcohol is hidden, not heavy

First time they have brewed this and could be the last, simply curiousity with trying this one as I had never heard of it, might drink again if possible, worth trying at least once
