Our Big Eye IPA is a big hoppy brew, thanks to the abundance of American Columbus and Centennial varieties we use to flavor and dry hop. While the English originally added extra hops to preserve their beers for sea travel, we do it for the love of all that bold, intense flavor that makes India Pale Ale one of our favorite styles.

Pours deep orange and with a shine from clarity. A fat head of off white foam finally settles so you can drink. Stream of bubbles to look at while you wait. Nose is orange. Orange peel, orange ripeness, fruit sweetness and tropical backnotes. A bit of subtle and earthy pine This beer is about 3 moths old so if the pine isi stronger in yours that could be why. Taste is wonderful .light malt, practically invisible on the palate except for some nuttiness. Once the palate is indoctrinated the nutty flavor subsides and you are left with only hop fruits. Orange and more orange, the ripe orange, the pith the bitter seed. Authentic and light in the drink. Finishes with a bitter than deserves your attention. This bitter while earthy and while moderate actually scoops up the entire beer in it's aftertaste and leaves it at the back palate .
I'll have another one of these. You could drink this beer all day.

Clear amber, tight white head. Grapefruit & pine cones in the nose. Nicely bitter. Slightly oily and malty, finished by bracing, but balanced, citrus bitterness. Good Beer.|2/24/2013

Clear, amber color. Medium-sized, white head. The aroma of citrus fruits , malt, and ginger. Sharp, hoppy bitterness with light sweetness of malt in taste. A hint of ginger and long-lasting bitterness in the aftertaste.

355 ml bottle, from Fakta Hirtshals. BB date is hard to read, but probably 25.03.2014. Slightly hazy deep golden to amber colour, moderate to low head, slightly off-white. Strong and unpleasant aroma of stale orange marmalade and rotting fruits and vegetables. Distinctly hoppy and resinous flavour, better than the aroma, not too sweet, with a solid bitterness in the finish.
