Review from 12/2010 notes. Poured into a Gulden Draak tulip. Pours a dark red amber. Light head, but moderate lacing. Roasty malts, light fruit and sour fruit up front. Malty, somewhat spicy finish. Light to medium bodied. Not too bad; better than I expected. A decent try at a red, but I don't think I'll return.

yet another Grocery Outlet beer. Appearance is a nice dark copper amber with a 1" head that sticks around having nice sticky lace. Smell of light caramel, grain with a faint citrus note. Taste has a mellow grainy bitterness with a light caramel in the background. Mouthfeel is medium with good carbonation. An nice easy going amber, though not complex, but still enjoyable.

22 oz bottle from Grocery Outlet. Salem In appearance its a dark, reddish amber with a small light brown head. The head doesnt last long at all. Very caramel, bready aromas..some nuttiness i the back. Nice though. Like the aromas the taste is very caramelly, soft toffee and nuts slight hop in the back. Tasty if you like maltier beers. Nice and thick/smooth on the palate. Overall a very nice malt driven amber.
