Murky dark cooper appearance with a small head. Quite a bit of lacing.
Smells of tropical fruit, pine-apple in particular comes to mind. Also some subtle piney hops and malt-notes. Quite a delightful smell.
Taste is solid, yet I'm not quite as sold as I was on the smell. The fruity sweetness is still here, but the bitterness dominates - without necessarily being overbearing. Mouthfeel is in the mid-range, with below-average carbonation.
This is a solid IPA. More solid than exciting, but no shame in that.
