Brown winey color with a thin dark beige head with decent retention.
Fruity aroma with notes of cherries, caramel, oak, scotch and pine.
Flavor with notes of wood, toasted malts, caramel, booze, red fruits, scotch, peat and sices. Dry, bitter and alcoholic aftertaste. Its 10.5% abv does not give an equivalent warning effect, but sure shows up as a flavor component.
Medium body with appropriate carbonation.
Woody, fruity, spiced and alcoholic Barley Wine. Equally intense on all this notes. A bit of solvent like, though. It gets better after resting for a little while.
