Collaboration with Cerveja Letra
This imperial stout made in collaboration with Cerveja Letra (Portugal) was fermented with cachaça yeast from Brazil, and later added Cocoa seeds from Bahia. Aged for 10 months in Portugal, in Port wine casks after a earlier stage in casks of a portuguese wine spirit called Aguardente Vinica, Nanquim revealed its a deep black color beer, with a unique sensory complexity.

Looks great, smells average but the taste is more malty then expected for style. A nice take on a IS but with that Brazilian malt forward feel.
