Yellow beer, super carbonated yet yields a thin white head that quickly dissipates. Aroma was grainy.
Pretty much a spicy good beer. Lively carbonation, thin blonde body, mild vienna toasted malts. Its the beer they make for people who don't much like beer or simply work in an environment that is 100 degrees I'd venture to guess.

pale golden yellow with a thin off white head. Decent lace left behind from a sparkling clear liguid. A nice bit of carbonation bubbling up from the bottom.
Smell was light, with the biggest hints coming from grain, and a nice bread tone. Slightly sour tones present as well, maybe some sour grape or apple.. Nice play on the palate and a decent hoppy aftertaste. Biggest flavors were by far malts and grains, with a musty bread flavor

Yellow appearance, very bmc like, lots of bubbles, but not much head and even less retention. Aroma was grainy, mildly hoppy and bitter.
Not a whole lot going on, very mild malt presence, if any, a crispness is there, but something this light, how can it not, paired ok with spicy food, but often, beer lacking substance does.
How they justify pricing this one the same as their stouts and ipa's I have no idea, there's just no ingredients to it to justify paying $8 a 6 pack for it.

Pours a slightly hazing golden pale yellow color, nice carbonation, nice fizzy white head, some sticky lacing follows. The nose is malty/hoppy, slight citrus, some spicy tones, and some caramel. The taste is slightly sweet, malty, slight hoppy, spicy, and some caramel. Medium body. Drinkable, not a bad brew for a good price.

Poured a mostly clear light golden color. Not much at all in the way of a head and no lacing.
Mostly earthy-grassy scent with a bit of citrus in there also.
Taste is pleasant but nothing amazing going on here. Citrus came to the fore, and alcohol was present also. Not a complex brew by any means.
This is a smooth drinking beer with slightly below average carbonation. It's easy to have a few of these at one sitting but afterwards doesn't leave you with any distinct pleasing memories. Better than your average macro but overall it's probably not one I'd seek out in the future.

Appearance: I must say it has one of the coolest looking labels and when poured it is an almost clear golden color with minimal white head and lacing .
Smell: Grassy and herbal with mostly dominant citrus scents.
Taste: Sweet malt and spicey hops complimented by a subtle orange and lemony flavor.
Mouthfeel: Thin bodied with crisp carbonation and clean aftertaste
Drinkability: I thought this was a decent buy and will try again.

The usual fizzy head that falls to nothing. Golden and highly filtered appearance.
Grassy, light malts, cascade hops in the smell
Tastes like it smells, although the hops are a bit crisper than I was expecting. Watered mouthfeel, mellow carbonation. This is built for drinking in rapid succession
This is your run of the mill golden ale/blonde ale and just a blip on the radar screen of a fine brewery. Don't get me wrong I'd session this puppy in a heartbeat if it was offered, just not something I'll pursue.

Pours a clear golden colored ale with a skimpy head.
Smell is a little fruity yeast and some light biscuit malt scent and that is about it.
Taste is quite a lot of light malt and an OK balancing bitterness. Not much more to this one.
Mouthfeel is Average.
An OK drinking beer but this just isn't that great. Leave this on the shelf and get any of the other Mendocino brewing beers.

Poors nice clear and light golden with a fluffy white head leaving an immpressive ring chasing the beer down the glass.
Citrus-like smell of hops and grass is faint.
Godd bitter taste of hops on the tip and back of the tounge. Not a lot of maltiness, but a good summer-time refresher.
Liked (didn't love) the spicy hops and prickliness. Not a big fan of the "blonde" style, but better then most

This one was inny meanny minny moed by my daughter for me to try. I am trying to teach her that beer is an art form in it's own way. Of course she still has about 15 years before she can sample it. There was no freshness date I could find.
I poured it into my favorite Pils glass and was astonished at how quickly the head disappeared. As little foam as it had, it disappeared in about the time it took to pour it, this worried me a bit, though the glass was fresh washed and not totally dry, maybe this affected it a bit. The color was a pale milky gold, I couldn't see my fingers across the glass. One spot of bubbles rising. I was afraid I was in for a klunker. There is no one overwhelming smell to be had, though as it warms it is giving off a nice fruit liquor smell, very pleasant and light, not overwhelming at all.
As for taste, it is light and refreshing, I can't really find anything that stands out about it, but it is really enjoyable. A good summer beer, or it would be a great cookout beer with friends. The chewy, full bodied mouth feel was nice as well.
I'll buy this one again for sure. It is totally drinkable though a bit on the watery side. Refreshing would be the word.

Clear golden body adorned with a slightly fizzy white head. Little lacing on the glass but a ring stays on top the whole time.
Smell is a bit fruity on top of light malt and some light flowery hops. Nice and subtle.
Taste is very nice. Slight fruityness with some pretty good malt strength. Slight hop bitterness can be found on the end.
Goes down very smooth and at 4% ABV a session can be easily obtained.

Pale yellow-amber with a small, slightly dingy, white head that is diminishing rapidly despite the vigorous carbonation in the beer beneath. The foam lacks any substance whatsoever and is now nearly gone. It leaves the glass as lace-free as if the inner surface was coated with Teflon. I hate to say it, but this beer's appearance is scarily similar to some of the macro lagers that have entered my pint glass.
Big comeback in the aroma department. Still though, the nose is incredibly muted and isn't all that interesting. In terms of specifics, it's lightly fruity with the barest hint of hops. The label says "100% Cascade", but I would never have guessed.
Lackluster and insipid are words that come immediately to mind after tasting this blonde ale. Peregrine Golden is way too light and way too fizzy with very little flavor. Is it possible to brew a malt-free beer? Honestly, I wouldn't be surprised to see 'low carb' on the label. No malt flavor, no sweetness, no substance. No thanks.
Like the nose, the only thing present is a teensy bit of fruity (weak lemon) hoppiness. Again though, I can't appreciate Cascade for the life of me. Maybe they waved the hops over the brew kettle a few times. The beer is slightly sour; understandable since sweet and bitter missed their wake-up call. The mouthfeel is ultra-thin with a specific gravity that feels barely greater than water.
I haven't been too thrilled with Mendocino beer in the past, but I don't recall any that were as uninspiring as this. This beer's biggest fault is a simple lack of ingredients. Don't bother. Peregrine is more like a ratty old pigeon that has lost the will to fly.

Presentation: 12 oz long neck bottle with an ornate label with a handdrawn Peregrine falcon. 100 % cascade hops.
Appearance: Pours golden with a slight haze, and a thin head. Slightly bubbly. Head fades quickly.
Smell: Aroma is slightly salty? Smells like beer nuts, with just a hint of hops. Definitely a bit strange, but not unappealing.
Taste: The first thing that strikes me about this beer is the carbonation level - way too much. This tastes more like a wheat than a blonde to me.
Overall impression: Not bad, but not one I'll be seeking out again. It's a bit of a strange combination.

Pours out golden yellow with a fizzy, like-it-was-just-poured-from-a-soda-fountain, head.
Head quickly dissapates and leaves little to no lace.
Aroma is pretty non-descript. grainy malt, slightly grassy.
Flavor is much the same. Bland lager.
You could keep a sixer of this in the fridge for your mooching, BMC drinking friends

Ok 12 oz brown longneck with a bad depiction of a Peregrine falcon on the label.
Pretty average looking golden ale..that is light golden colour, tiny white head, minimal lace.
The aroma is weird, maybe Im going crazy ( or nuts) but i detect roasted peanuts in the shell..salty strange.
Flavour is almost lager like again I get a faint taste of rosted peanut..sickly aftertaste.
Pretty average on the palate..aftertaste is not good though.

Smell The nasty American grain is offset by a soft sweetness of some kind.

Sinkability Sorry, I cant stomach this one.

What is it with this style that doesn't give head. Don't you hate that?! This beer pours a lightly hazed very pale yellow with about 1/16" head that quickly leaves. The smell is a roasted malt and biscuit aroma with a slight twang. The taste reveals tangy roasted malt flavor with very light hops that have a small citrus tone and finishes very watery. This is a light bodied beer that finishes with a light sweet thinness.
Notes: At this point, I'm thinking that I'm not into this style and I don't see it ever happening. That said, this might go with a spicy dish because it so watery thin, it would put out the fire. That's about all the positives I can come up with. Cheers!

Perfectly golden in color, clear, with a mild white head that settles moderately. Smell has a light malty character with cascade hops at the nose. Taste is much the same. Not all too much to say about this beer. A simple, but good, drinking beer. Not all too interesting.
