This pours a malty caramel amber. Muddled hop aroma with candied orange notes. Bitter and caramelly orange finish. Not much going on here worth revisiting.

Green Fog Organic IPA has a thin, off-white head, a semi-opaque, orange appearance, and moderate lacing left behind, on the glass. The aroma is of sharp citrus rind, with some sourness and tartness. Taste is of strong bitterness, sweet, white bread, citrus rind, and mango. Mouthfeel is high medium, and Green Fog Organic IPA finishes dry and pleasant.

12 oz bottle.
Pours with a clear amber-copper colored body topped by a fine, bone-colored head. Loads of lacing.
Somewhat low bitterness for style but about average hop aroma and flavor.
Notably smooth, semi-creamy feel, with medium body and soft carbonation.
Overall: a bargain IPA at Trader Joe's price.

Perfectly fine I guess. I am not a big IPA guy and found it to be just kinda bitter but no more than many top brands.

a surprisingly full flavored IPA that pulls no punches. I was curious when I first saw the words “Organic”, but was pleasantly surprised by the quality. Its not the best IPA I’ve had but it was refreshing, very malty as with a distinct Pine taste with a light orange peel nose. Typically i would expect a bit more hops but it wasn’t bad. The head is thing and the beer is a foggy Copper color. it comes with a 6.5 % ABV and can be found at Trader Joes

Poured from a 12 oz brown bottle into a clear glass tulip. No freshness date.
A: Medium amber with 1-finger off-white head with decent retention and solid lacing but tons of yeast floaties throughout detracts.
S: Minerally herbal and floral hop aroma with light caramel underpinnings
T: Caramel maltiness is the predominant flavor with a short shot of floral, rustic, earthy hoppiness. Definitely an "old school" IPA. Bitterness is medium-high.
M: Slick and oily with medium body and moderate carbonation. No problems here.
O: A pretty bitter, old-school IPA with a fair dose of caramel maltiness and with a lot of tea-like, earthy hoppiness. Not my cup of tea when I am looking for an IPA.

Smell - piney hops and malt
Appearance - clear copper with a slight head and some lacing
Feel - light carbonation but still lively on the tounge
Taste - good hoppy quality with nice persistence, piney rather than citrusy. Per the brewery website this ale has three different hops, so no particular variety dominates. On the one hand, if you like the taste of a particular variety like Simcoe, you may want more of it and its particular qualities. In this case there's a hop presence that's very good by itself but sort of generic. The blend is successful but not my preference.
The ale as purchased differs from the ale on the website which seems slightly out of date (lower IBUs and a different label which suggests a change of recipe). No best by date that I could find. I would buy this ale again.

12 oz bottle. Pours deep golden with tall, long lasting, fluffy white head, nice lacing. Aroma is of grassy hops, bready malt and citrus fruit. Body is medium and crisp. Earthy, herbal hops dominate the palate with bready malt and citrus fruit in the background. Finish is long and earthy. Good brew.
