A: Poured from a 22oz bomber bottle into a large football-shaped glass. Colored ruddy brown with a hazy, opaque texture. A gorgeous, fluffy white 2-finger head and some legit lacing. Pretty indeed!
S: Sweet caramel up-front with a distinctly Cascade hop finish. The nose is sweet and woodsy, with aromas of roses, mulch, malted barley, dry grass clippings, and wholesome cereal.
T: Burnt caramel on the front of the tongue with a dry pine needle middle and a black cherry jam swallow. Aftertaste is creme brulee mixed with pine cones. Flowers, grass, wood chips, slight condensed milk, and a bit of alcohol esters.
M: On the verge of being syrupy with enough chewiness to balance the feel out. A nice dryness at the end without a crazy bitter afterfeel.
O: A nice, if slightly conservative way to celebrate 30 years of brewing.

A: somewhat hazy; burnt orange in color; a 1 finger egg shell head that recede quickly; sheets of lacing;
S: complex; floral is most prominent; a little pine in the background; some alcohol;
T: very subtle flavors; floral and pine, but not much; alcohol is well hidden; some bitterness on the finish, but not much;
M: medium bodied; carbonation a touch on the prickly side;
O: a really nice APA; I would have liked the Cascade to be more prominent, but this bottle, although I just bought it, may be old (no date indication)
