Brewed to commemorate the great break-in of '09 in which thieves smashed a window at SKW and made off with 160 mason jars filled with beer, Felony even incorporates the crime case number in its graphic along with the logo, "The Only IPA Worth Stealing."
I don't recommend stealing this ale, and I'm hesitant to suggest drinking it. Cara foam malts produce good lace and head retention. But the taste is tart and citric with a raw homebrew-ishness in need of refinement. The overextended bittering and dilute mouthfeel are impediments to appreciation.
