A: Very dark brown, almost black in color with a khaki head. Good lace and head retention.
S: Kenyan espresso dominates aromas. Notes of chocolate and smoky roasted malt.
T: Kenyan Espresso, roasted malt notes abound in this flavorful brew.
M: Robust body that is chewy and full-flavored.
O: A great treatment of the Dark Star Stout. The Kenyan Espresso really packs a wallop of intense nose and taste.

On tap at 5 Seasons Westside.
Pour is opaque and essentially black with a modest head.
Coffee permeates the aroma and flavor but is high quality and not overdone. The dark roasted malt base is also evident, as are hints of dark chocolate. Less chocolate appears in tasting.
Richer and better flavor that the Dark Star Stout.
