Appearance: Delivered to our SkyBar patio table a clouded, lemon-hued body with an inch of snow white foam by fine streams of steady carbonation. Moderate lacing on the descent.

Smell: Aroma smelling of cut orchard fruits, honeysuckle blossoms, and honey candy tossed with a dusting of finely ground spices and what smells at times as either cider or white wine.

Taste: Amalgam of pale and pilsner malts, sweet pops of powdered sugar, and a prevalent floral presence. Vibrant fruitiness of crisp apples, pears, and even white peaches tossed with a $10 to $15 bottle of Sauvignon Blanc. The sweetness and fruitiness is rounded out by a robust spiciness. Lightly bitter. Peppery, warming alcohol tones. Lingers lazily on the sweet side until a second before the drying, fruity finish.

Mouthfeel: Medium-plus body. Medium-plus carbonation. Smooth, lightly creamy mouthfeel.

Drinkability: It's pleasant. A very flavorful drink, a bit like a sweeter, fruitier Duvel.

On-tap at the brewpub. Brewed by Crawford with assistance from Adam from Green's.

Pours a hazy golden-yellow color with a one-finger white head. The head recedes into a thin layer on top leaving solid lacing.

Smells of crisp light malts with hints of pears and musty hops. As the beer warms the hop influence increases a bit to include slightly leafy notes.

Tastes similar to how it smells. Smooth pilsner malt flavors with hints of breadiness kick things off. Shortly thereafter good amounts of pear and lighter amounts of green apple flavors make their way into things - both are on the dry side. Midway through the sip hints of leafy and light citrus hop flavors make an appearance before carrying through to a mildly bitter ending.

Mouthfeel is good. It's got a smooth thickness with moderate carbonation.

Drinkability is also good. I finished my glass without a problem and could have another.

Overall I thought this was a solid beer however it had no overly exciting qualities. A nice summer refresher that's worth a shot.
