On-tap at the brewpub. Unnamed when I saw it on the chalkboard.
Pours a clear copper color - one of the clearest I've had here - with a 1.5-finger slightly off-white head. The head recedes into a wispy layer on top leaving solid lacing.
Smells of sweet pale malts with hints of darker caramel malts, all overshadowed by large amounts of herbal and citrus hop aromas.
Tastes similar to how it smells. The malt flavors consistent mostly of the pale variety but hints of darker caramel are also present. The malts are joined quickly by good amounts of pine and herbal hop flavors, with lighter citrus lurking in the background. The hops carry through to a solidly bitter ending.
Mouthfeel is very good. It's got a nice thickness with smooth carbonation.
Drinkability is also very good. I finished my glass quickly and could easily have a few more.
Overall this was just rough enough that the flavor profiles wasn't amazing but even as it is it's a very nice beer. Worth a shot.
