A: Pours pitch black with a finger of very dense, light Brown head. Retention is remarkable.
S: Lots of coffee roast, a bit of milk and dark chocolate. Faint earthy hop aroma.
T: Very coffee forward. Coffee grounds with a mild spiciness. Quite dry with significant roasted malt flavor.
M: Good thickness, but very highly carbonated.
O: I enjoy the coffee, but this needs some sweetness to balance,

arrived in a pint glass with a 1-finger dark tan head. The head had limited retention but left a lasting ring; no lacing left, however.
Plenty of good coffee flavor in both the aroma and the taste ... Not as strong in terms of coffee, however, as Kona Pipeline Porter or Pisgah Valdez Stout. The coffee is well balanced with flavorful dark roasted malts, and there is a bit of spicy hops here too. Mildly bitter with a bit of sweetness.
M: medium body; notable heavier than, say, a typical Irish stout. Slightly dry. Very smooth.
O: a very fine coffee stout, with plenty of coffee flavor.
