On tap at the brewpub.
Good clarity and white head; clear amber body.
Fine sweet malt aroma. Good balance, although, as is often the case with this style, I wish it had a bit more hops. A tad sweeter than usual for style, making the hop upgrade sound even more desirable.

A: thin finger head with nice lacing on a clear amber with golden hues body.
S: candied citrus mostly orange with little hop character.
T: toffee, cinnoman, candied fruit and caramel malts but again light on the malts.
M: medium body and moderate carbonation.
Overall: full flavored though the spiciness and hops could have played a larger role to be truer to the style.

A - poured with a small head of white foam on a lightly hazy, amber colored body. The head settles quickly but leaves decent lace.
S - toffee malts with some cinnamon and red apple.
T - sweet, thick malt up front with a transition to a more creamy, caramel influenced character in the middle. Finishes with red apple and more caramel as well ad a light spicy character.
M - medium thick body, moderate carbonation, and a sweet finish.
D - not bad, but lacking the crispness of the best lagers.
