Five Seasons Westside took their Belgian Style beer most resembling a Tripel or Quad and aged it in 5 different whiskey/bourbon barrels. Each has unique qualities with common threads shared as well.
A: thin head and some lacing on a cloudy crimson body.
S: bourbon is prominent but not overly boozy with earthy malts noted
T: very milky with bourbon up front yielding to a sweet orange and citrus flavor providing a tangy finish.
M: thick body and light carbonation. Thick consistency for the style.
Overall: each of this series have common ground with some qualities making them unique. This one sands out from the others in most ways but memorably but the mouthfeel.
