Five Seasons Westside took their Belgian Style beer most resembling a Tripel or Quad and aged it in 5 different whiskey/bourbon barrels. Each has unique qualities with common threads shared as well.
A: no head to speak of and on a cloudy crimson body.
S: bourbon and resin with the fruitiness of the triple trying to get through.
T: sharp with a well defined Evan Williams bourbon note. Malts and yeast are better represnted in this brew compared to others in the series.
M: Sharp. Medium body and light to no carbonation.
Overall: one of the more boozy of the series however the bourbon character is nicely represented.
