Five Seasons Westside took their Belgian Style beer most resembling a Tripel or Quad and aged it in 5 different whiskey/bourbon barrels. Each has unique qualities with common threads shared as well.
A: no head on a cloudy crimson body.
S: pretty much straight up mild bourbon and oak. Nice sweet note.
T: sharp whiskey and booze with woody note fading to a well balanced sweet fruit and bourbon note.
M: medium body and light to no carbonation. Sharpness up front and hurts drinkability.
Overall: least dynamic of the series however still great and a must try. My rating is hard on this one overall but the entire series is excellent.
