*alternately known as "Smaug."
Appearance: Pours a murky, dark brown body, with a three-inch-high, lofty, airy, tan-hued head.
Smell: An initial impression of spiced chocolate fast followed by a strong dark fruitiness and sweet-scented, heavy treacle element. Moderate Tennessee whiskey scents throughout.
Taste: Roast bucked and edged by a strong dark fruitiness of succulently ripe plums and figs (also some muddled 'nana and pear). A bit sweet. Pinch of ground spices with an earthy tone to them. Integrated Jack Daniel's character that emboldens into the finish and warming choco-spice aftertaste.
Mouthfeel: Medium-plus body. Medium-high carbonation.
Overall: It's nice, for a barrel-aged Belgian... thing.
