Half pint at the Edward G Wylie ('spoons) in Glasgow. Not red, more a dark amber colour. The nose was mainly lemon but slightly doughy to boot. Not big either. However, it is quite complex with a warm, tangy start leading into caramel with slight bitterness, then a biscuity phase before a rather metallic finish. Big red is good beer, but not big and not red.
