40oz bottle - my share, a scant 12oz - let's see if that's too little, or too much...
This beer pours a clear medium yellow colour, with one finger of foamy, sudsy white head, which fiizzes away quite quickly, leaving some decent spectral lace around the glass. It smells of sweet corn grain, and floral, but mild, rubbing alcohol. The taste is more big sweet grain, kind of a blend between bready and corny, some apple-like fruitiness, and a very subdued booze edge. The carbonation is on the low side of average, the body medium weight, due mostly to a slightly cloying sugary character, and as smooth as that can get. It finishes still sweet and husky, the booze just bubbling under the surface, switching between dryness simulacrum and simmering gutbuster.
Well, as far as 'malt likkas' go, this ain't half bad. While that does not by extension imply half-good, I'm okay with my relatively small portion - it gets a little less innocuous as it warms, but I'm guessing if you're imbibing the whole damn forty, that isn't really a concern.

355ml can poured in a dimpled mug. They sell these babies in a convenient 4 pack if you don't feel like a 40oz bottle.
Clear, pure gold in colour. Off-white foamy head is 1 inch on the pour and reduces to a thin cap. Some spots of lacing here and there.
Aroma is grainy with some floral and petrol notes and a hint of corn sweetness.
Heavy on the grains, petrol notes and corn sweetness throughout. Finish is muted adjuncts. Aftertaste is all adjuncts and petrol notes.
Medium bodied with a harsh mouthfeel and moderate carbonation.
This is basically like a macro on steriods. Take all that great macro taste and pump it up and add in a 9% alcohol wallop. After the first few sips your pallate kind of goes into shock or something, because it kind of evens out a bit and isn't quite so harsh. Still isn't very good, but less unpleasant.
