This is a very mediocre representation. It almost tastes like "hard lemonade"...lol.

one of the weaker beers i had from here, but at three bucks a bomber or whatever absurd price they were selling them for, its hard to complain, its blonde, cold, and wet, and that right there is about good enough for what i paid for, imperfect on the fermentation side, a little soapy and cheap tasting, without the cold conditioned crispness the best of these have, almost overly floral, a weird ester, but its not bad beer, just doesnrt stand out in the style in a very competitive northwestern beer market. a little lazy looking from the bottle, not popping on carbonation and with just a patchy white ring around the edges of the glass after a second, bright yellow but more still than it should be. it smells like its still actively fermenting, its husky and grainy, only loosely german to me in any area, malt, water, hops, lacking that old world refinement too. the flavor is pale barley, a pils-like note, white bread, so simple but this one just isnt quite right overall. best when ice cold, it warms up poorly and becomes disjointed. i want clean and easy with a kolsch, this is a bit clunky and amateurish. not their strongest effort, but of course it makes sense to have a lighter mindless one on any beer menu, and this plays that role for them well enough i suppose...

Tasty. Light dry, cool and clean. Mild wet hay note on the taste with a cool steel mineral finish. A bit watery. One the finish, but awesome on a hot day.
