On tap at the brewpub.
Appearance: Gold and hazy.
Smell: Some citrusy American hops.
Taste: Some bitterness and a loveley wheaty malt flavor, some mineral water.
Mouthfeel: Medium bodied.
Overall: I'm all about yeast phenols and esters, so I have a fundamental problem with American style wheats, but this made me actually like the style for the first time in years. Well done.

This is their "Very approachable American style wheat beer light in color with a crisp, clean, slightly lemony flavor".
Sits straw yellow in the pint glass with a lemon wedge impaled on the lip. Not much of a head, let alone lacing.
Dry sweetness of candied sugar, lemon, and a dry finish. I was also getting a slight seafood/oyster presense in this one, definilty an out-of-place twang of bitterness in here. By all means a drinkable brew, just gets boring kinda fast, and has something not quite right about it, maybe a bad batch?

This is Golden Valleys lightest beer in nearly every measure. It is light bodied with a crisp wheat character, pale golden and clear. It began life at 1.044 OG and concludes with a very modest 3.7% ABV and 22 IBU.
Despite such casual parameters, Third Street Wheat is not excessively timid. True, it has no lace and a very faint head. But its flavor is not lacking, making it a very relaxed beer suited for food accompaniment, thirst quenching, or nutrient replenishment.
