a fine hazy, not a standout in a style literally everyone and their brother is making these days, but one of their more modern recipes i reckon, just a bit of overly dry hopped hop burn on the back end, but its minor and this is juicy and drinkable, nice starchy creamy feeling grain base, which is cool because its not all that hazy looking really, on the dry side overall, and not without a bit of bitterness, which i dig in the style, keeps fruity hops from being cloying and is all too often absent these days. the hops arent exotic to me, but there is nice aroma and flavor, fresh melon, tangerine, even pineapple, definitely fruit forward and appropriately timed and dosed, as it warms i pick up light peach or apricot and perhaps mango, a little tropical, but also just a touch vegetal as it sits. the grain has a subtle graham cracker thing to it, enough body, and is smooth and long. carbonation is a little light, but this isnt weighty as these go anyway, and it seems right on for summer. these guys have a great patio, tasty food, and good vibes all around, it was a lot of fun to sit and rip through a number of their offerings on a gorgeous summer evening with family!
