Pours a nice deep caramel, though slightly hazy with a small, yet meringue-like head which thins quickly atop medium sized bubbles. Moderate carbonation. Mild hop nose with a hint of grain, sweet malts, and honey. Crisp, clean mouthfeel and flavor profile. Moderate body. No fusel alcohols noted. Moderate hop bitterness, with slightly stronger hop flavor. The flavor hops are a little too assertive and don't balance the malts quite right. The finish is astringent and dry. An easy to drink beer, and a good representative of the style, however nothing in particular stands out. Perhaps it shouldn't in this style...

A light gold color and a small white head. An aroma of hops and caramel. A flavor of hops, malt and lightly of caramel and grain. Light finish. Wasn't terribly impressed.

This beer has a very sweet malt aroma. The hop profile is way too buttery for the style. The level of carbonation was reminiscent of a cask ale and helped bring out the medium body a bit more. I didn’t really care for this one.
