Dark brown.
I like the aromatics. They display a healthy dose of coffee bean, both roasted and green, together with notes of boiled okra and cocoa.
The flavors are thin while they deliver some of the aformentioned character. Clean. Watery.
The finish leans in the roasted vegetable and roasted twig direction while it never falls completely out of balance. Quick.

This beer poured a dark brown color and formed a off white head that formed little lace. The aroma was of hops, malt and butterscotch as it warmed. The flavor, also as it warmed, was of malt and butterscotch. The finish and body was a bitter lighter than others. Not bad if your looking for a session beer, but nothing special.

This brown has a sweet alfalfa aroma which initially puts a question in the mind of the brews quality. The medium/heavy body accentuates the huge roasted malt character of the brew. The finish is nice and dry which I find enjoyable in a brown ale. Overall this is an average brew.
