.33cl bottle into an An Brainblasta goblet in Belfort, France. Reviewed live. Bottle displays 9% ABV.
A: Half finger head of slight cream, crap thickness, and poor retention. Dark murky yellow colour.
Sm: Lemon esters and caramelized malt. A light scent.
T: Lemon ester and malt body, with some unexpected nutty notes towards the climax. The malt is wretchedly handled and the balance is awful. Built poorly for the style. Not at all complex or bold.
Mf: Smooth and wet, with an eerily dry aftertaste that ruins the balance of the mouthfeel. Noncomplementary of the flavours of the body.
Dr: High ABV, average drinkability, and high pricing by French and Swiss standards.
