The flavour of India Pale Ale comes from its hops. India Pale Ale, our most bitter style, dates to when the British Empire had thirsty troops stationed in India. Hops, as a natural preservative, kept the beer fresh on its voyage east.

Had on cask at the brewpub. All of their beers at the brewery are casked. A British style IPA, with some orange citrus. Aroma is malty and hoppy second. Virtually no head, yet a nice looking peacy coloured body. Medium mouthfeel considering it is a cask, with bitterness and considerable malt.I guess Fuggles. I did like oakiness in finish.
