Poured from a can into a pint glass. Pours amber red with a creamy white nitro head. Smells of sweet caramelized grain. Tastes of caramelized grain with nice creaminess. Beer is light bodied and easy drinking, good carbonation. Overall, a very good beer.

Creamy with caramel, subtle red fruit, apple, and herbal hops. But there’s a bit of an off flavor. Would be really nice otherwise.

From a nitro can into a Nonic.
Amber pour with great head retention and lacing.
Flavor is mediocre, somewhat creamy, somewhat off in flavor though. The date on this can expires next month. No accounting for where it’s been though.
Overall, it’s a decent beer, probably better when it’s fresh and closer to home.

I may have had one of these years ago when I was in the UK, life before BA.
No memory of how good/bad it was though. Just a vague memory of a nitro Cream Ale.

L: somewhere between a bitter and a red ale, closer to a bitter. Large white head.
S: dust, faint bananas, and vague sweetness
T: surprisingly, not bad. Sort of like Guinness, but without the roasted malt. Pleasant, even.
F: not flat but definitely almost no carbonation here, even in the glass. Like thick water.

Surprisingly nice to drink. Not bad. Would drink again.

Incredibly creamy and quaffable.
Nice hop presence.
I find it to be a good example of the style.

440 ml nitro can, BBE 31MAR25 stamped on the bottom of the can. Served in a pint glass, the beer pours a mostly clear reddish/amber color with about an inch creamy off-white head that stayed around a while. Good amount of lacing. The brew smells like toffee, bready malt, dried fruit and a bit of earthiness. Taste is pretty much just like the aroma, but there's also a bit of herbal hoppiness noticeable too. Mouthfeel/body is light/medium, it's smooth and creamy, and easy enough to drink. I thought this was a good overall brew, great for a hot day like this one!

A fantastic crème ale!

Pours gorgeous amber / deep red gold from a nitro can with a mesmerizing cascade of deliciousness that settles fairly quickly in a glass and turns from a boisterous whitewater to a proper ale with a proper white head.

The smell is very elegant and subtle and is a bit nutty which is consistent with the taste.

Tastes smooth and nutty. A 4-pack was gone so fast! Blimey!

Amber hazy with a great nitro dispersement, a show in the glass. The smell is of hard water and toasted malts. The taste follows the nose with hints of toffee and caramel. Amazing thick cream top, the body has very little to almost no carbonation feeling like thick water. I got this in Phuket where I am enjoying it, April 21st, 2024.

I wanted to close out my St. Paddy's Day drinking 2024 with the nitro version of this bad boy - and boy was I glad...

Great looking nitro pour that was topped off with a creamy white head. The smell was muted, but still solid and the taste was solid as well, with a mouthfeel that wasn't as creamy as I would have expect, but still, solid is the word of the day. Decent offering, one I am glad to have had...

From a nitro can. Amber color with an inch of dense cream colored head. Malty aroma. Light body and silky feel. Caramel malt with a herbal note on the finish. Nice

16oz can

Pours a finger of white head into my nitro glass. Retention is stellar. Lacing is solid. Body is dark copper and crystal clear. Looks great.

Nose has substantial caramel and toffee. Pretty sweet, nearly desert level, almost comes across as perfume. Faint noble hop character. Smells nice.

Plenty of caramel and toffee on the flavor, very malty. Perfume-esque. Tastes good, definitely desert-y.

Carbonation is lower than low. Extremely light bodied. Relatively sweet, but it works just fine and isn’t cloying at all. Bitterness is low-moderate and does a lot of work in keeping this beer in check. Good mouthfeel, somewhat balanced.

Drinkability is nice.

Overall a great malty beer, with a deceptively adequate bitterness.

L-Pours a one fingered frothy and nitro fizzed head. Good carbonation and fun nitro look at the beginning. Apple juice colored body.
S-Creamy sweet butterscotch and malt. Apple juice, apricot and some dried raison and prune. Some slight cracker as well. Slightly tart aroma towards the end.
T-Slightly malty sweet and bitter creamy flavor. Hints of apple and roasted malts. Maybe some caramel as well. A little stale towards the end. Finishes a bit flavorless and watery. Skeletal.
F-Mouthfeel is a bit watery to be honest.
O-Meh. Looked cool at first then the quality dropped a bit for me. Not totally bad, just not fully fleshed out in my opinion.
