Copenhagen 6/6 2018. 56,8 cl bottle from Netto. Label with a lot of gold, a Crown, arrow heads and words like "Limited Edition" and "Vintage".
Pours clear dark amber with a big, bubbly, off-white head. Settles as a 1,5 cm thick, blanket of foam covering the surface of the beer. Very moderate lacing.
Aroma is medium sweet. Light caramel and sweet biscuit. Sharper and more bitter notes. Light metallic notes of alcohol. Light saltiness.
Strong carbonation providing a prickly mouthfeel. Medium thick texture.
Flavor is medium sweet. Followed by somewhat stronger bitterness. Aftertaste is medium bitter with sweet hints of caramel. Finish is semi-dry.
Fine Biscuit beer with a decent bitter bite.

Bottle conditioned. Clear amber with a frothy tan head.
The chevalier malt comes through nicely on the aroma.
Unfortunately the generic GK yeast is noticeable through the toffee and caramelised sugar flavour.
Medium to full body. The alcohol is about right. The conditioning has also done it's job well.
A reasonable effort here to resurrect this old Suffolk malt.

Bottled, Bottle conditioned & part of a limited edition Chevallier edition
Pours a mid brown body with big foaming head that draws back to the rim of the glass with three or four mm circumference circles
again with a mouldy, musky aroma over treacle
So first of all there is some burned sugar then a little rye ending with a tinny finish
