After enjoying being punted around on the very nearby river Cam we visited The Pickerel (pub) at 30 Magdalene Street. Sitting in the sunny court-yard was very pleasant. A couple of pints of this very trad beer was enjoyed. It's brewed by Abbot for the pub, the oldest in Cambridge; opened in 1608.
