Tel Aviv 11/3 2015. 33 cl bottle from tap at Carlton Hotel.
Pours clear brownish yellow with a white head. Stable. Gradually subsiding to a thin patchy layer of foam. No lacing.
Aroma is sweet and malty - quite distinct. Pale malts, caramel and a whiff of sour grains.
Soft carbonation. Slightly thick, oily, almost flat texture.
Flavor is rather watery combined with an rather unpleasant sweet taste - slightly artificial. Aftertaste has some bitterness which stays with you.
Not a particularly good ambassador for Israeli Beer.

This Israeli beer is a good beer for having when it's hot or watching sports, very similar to American versions amber lager. Pours light golden and sometimes brown, average head, and a decent amount of carbonation. It has a malty sweet decent, with a citric acid bite (nothing terrible), with a light aroma, and it has light body. It is not filling, has no edge, and a malt after taste.
