Brewed for New Year's, it's the regular 888, but dry hopped with whole leaf Simcoe.
Smell is mostly piney, somewhat resiny
Taste is similar but more on the resin side. Well balanced, but definitely a hop forward beer.
Color is dark amber, good lacing, carbonation is pleasantly aggressive.
This one is surprisingly different from the regular 888, I'm really happy I got to try it.
