Suzi's Red Belly

Poured on-tap at the Cocoa Beach Brewery, the beer was served up in a pint glass. I was informed by my server, Suzi, that the beer is named after the brewer's wife, Suzi. The beer pours an amber-orange coloring with a thin film of head. There is an inviting nutty and smokey nose that is surprisingly light and effervescent. The beer has good sweet nut and dark caramel forward flavors, with a roasted and darkly sweet aftertaste. Thi finish is bitter and slightly dry, with is nice after the sweet theme throughout. The dryness at the end actualy brings an overall smoothness to the brew. Good bodied, well balanced, and very tasty.
