On tap at House of Brews, Jensen Beach. Served in a snifter.

Appearance - Deep amber. Clear. Big cream head. Nice lacing. Decent wispy surface.

Smell - Pine hop. Lots of caramel. Some sweetness.

Taste - Very piney. And very malty at the same time. Kinda sweet. Bitter in the back. Grassy and bitter.

Mouthfeel - Heavy for the style. Very bitter.

Overall - Tastes ok, but not a great hop profile and too malty.

 

 

This was my second Cocoa Beach Brewing Company beer - the first one was their oatmeal stout offering, but this IPA was delicious (and I'm a stout/porter kinda guy...)

I was impressed with the full-bodied flavor of the IPA. Great look, even though it had a weak head, good smell of citrus, to along with its bright orange look. I wasn't too happy with the mouthfeel though - a bit sticky and too strong of an aftertaste taking away from the overall experience. Nonetheless, the flavor was amazing - a great mix of the full-bodied IPA with strong orange/lime/lemon notes.

 

 

 

 

 

This beer was a hazy amber color with a tiny, off-white head. No lace.

Average aroma. Some citrus and sweet malt.

Minimally more in the taste. Grapefruit and biscuit.

This was a pretty mild, almost tepid, IPA. There wasn't that much there, and I won't be trying it again.

 

 

Amazing little brewpub in Florida. A welcoming brew in the shed, drink in the living room type place.
Bright orange cloudy beer with a wispy head. Not much visible carbonation. Smells nice, very citrusy, not much complexity, but its a big american ipa so i want expecting much else. there is a slightly off-puting medicinal aroma, maybe a little disinfectant like.
Tastes similar, big citrus upfront, but a little one dimensional. the malt doesnt show much and the beer quickly gets a lemon rind bitter that leaves the mouth feeling powdery. A little bit of an alcohol twang at the end.
Mouthfeel is nice until the dryness, a little oily, active but not overpowering carbonation.
The beer has its defects but i would happily drink another.

 

 

Low rating??? What the hell. This is a solid IPA. Border line double. Pours amberish with nice white fluffy head, lots of citrus on the nose and a great balance of powerful hop presence and malt backbone. Its not the best in the world but i would drink this fresh any day. Great place to visit to and close to beach and attarctions.

 

 

This was not a good beer! The appearance was weak, with no head whatsoever. And the taste was worse. This tasted like someone was just learning to homebrew. The malts overwhelm the beer and yet still manage to fall flat and shallow flavor-wise. In general the flavor was poorly combined with no structure and no depth.
