Stopped here to watch some sports while on a business trip. They focus on European bees and had a fair amount but there was nothing that exciting. To be fair though, I have no idea what beer distribution is like in Canada. They had a lot of taps but a good deal were taken up by not so good beers. The bottle selection was good. Bartender was friendly but he didn't seem super knowledgeable. Overall, the place was good and I would go back.

One of the best places to drink beer in the city of Calgary. A great selection of specialty and international beer. A bit pricey, but where else can you find a Trappist beer. The friendly and smokin' hot waitresses were also a plus! I did not try the food, but the dude shucking oysters was a nice classy touch.

This place was recommended by my Canadian friends. I was up there last week for a wedding so I hit this place up.
I went to this place on a Friday night and it was packed! Lots of people and kinda loud but hey its a Friday night. That and this establishment is located in a fairly busy area of Calgary on Friday nights. If you like a nice quite time, this might not be the place for you.
They had a lot of quality beer on tap and in bottle. The beer fridge sits right behind the bar and had a decent selection of local and Belgian bottles, most notably Westmalle and La Chouffe. On tap was some local beer and other Belgians, which included Leffe and Hoegaarden. A pretty decent selection of quality beers and the prices I thought were fair.
The food was very good as well. I had an outstanding bleu cheese burger . The meat was perfectly cooked and the bun was amazing. The cheese had great flavor and the fries were cooked to perfection. The friends I was with raved about their food as well. Even if they had no beer, I would go back again for the burgers alone.
The prices were decent, not cheap but not expensive, I thought they were very reasonable.
When I go back to Calgary I will definately go back to this place.
