Poured into a flute with one inch head.
Like fellow Deadhead review I also noticed strong scent of parmesan cheese. Very unusual aroma to say the least but I enjoy it.
Bought this beer in six pack about four times over last two years when available.
This is not like the German Berliner Weisse I've had before but give mad props for it's uniqueness and find it a very good session beer in any season.

They are only open a couple days. They are just a simple store with a tasting counter and storage of there boxs everywhere. They were very friendly and excited to have you try the beers. They have a small fridge with a small selection of cold beer but a large selection of their beers.

I love this small little brewery and really enjoy the different ales and Belgians they produce. I can just drive up at fill my growler for a reasonable price. The tasting room is a bit odd with its old Golden Tee in the corner but.... meh.... its all about the beer!

Excellent place to visit, just a quick few turns off 93. Tasted 5 or 6 beers, knowledgeable and friendly staff, came home with a mixed case of bombers, 20% off if you buy 12. No food or tours, but plenty to taste, growler fills to go as well. Had a few different things, apple brandy cask aged ale, and triple.

White Birch moved up the road shortly after their brew fest this summer. Their new digs--in an old car dealership showroom and garage--are significantly bigger and more visible than the old, tiny spot in a nondescript industrial park.

The brewery store and tasting room occupy the large, low-ceiling former showroom, which is mostly open and empty, except for events. Along the back wall--the only one not covered with glass--is the bar, which usually has several open bottles for sampling on top and a couple taps for growler fills behind. To the right of the bar are two floor-to-ceiling shelves and a small fridge full of bottles, along with some other locally made goods.

The selection of house-brewed beers can't be beat and the prices are all reasonable. Every time I've been in, people have been coming in for growler fills. It seems like a fairly steady stream, and it's great to see in an area of the state where the concept of growler fills is still fairly new. The super-fresh growler of Hop Session I picked up for Christmas Eve was a big hit with my family.

Tours aren't scheduled, but as long as there are two people working, they'll typically show you around the brewery out back, which occupies the cavernous former garage. This is a far cry from their cramped environs up the road. Part of me misses the intimacy of that old space, but I'm sure this is a better place to work, and I'm glad to see them growing.

Bill, Brian, Ben and everyone else who mans the store bar have all been extremely helpful, friendly and up for a chat about beer or anything else going on. The space--both the store and the brewery itself--is pretty bare bones at the moment and lacking the inherent charm of even a cramped industrial space, but it has immense potential as they grow, and the friendly atmosphere makes the brewery a great place to visit even if it's clearly an old car dealership.

And don't forget to ask about their drivetrain warranty.

The brewery just recently moved to a much larger location that is the site of a former car dealership. They have a huge space now with lots of room to grow. Out front in what used to be a showroom is where they have two walls holding shelves of beer as well as two taps for samples and growler fills. Liberal hours and samples along with a friendly knowledgeable staff. They have somewhere between 10 and 15 of their beers for sale and often will have something that is brewery only. Pricing is good with the product slightly less expensive than at the shops in the area. A great place to pick up some fresh local beer.

In 2011 Bill and his team opened the new brewery in a vacant building formerly occupied by a car dealership which allows for a spacious brewing and retail area and a ton of parking. In the retail store there are always tastings going on during regular business hours. They have 3-4 bottles for sampling but they take requests. You can buy growlers but there are only two taps to choose from. But those taps change. A majority of the White Birch brews are distributed to stores but there are a handful that can only be found at the brewery and if you want to try those you will need to visit. If you request a tour of the brewery they are happy to show it off although there are no organized, pre-scheduled tours. I put up two dollar signs on the value although some might think it is pricey. I think for the quality of the beer the prices are very reasonable.
