A: Pours a very dark red, with a light brown head.
S: Nose is roasty, malty and somewhat hoppy. Some nice medium roast and dark roast coffee. A little citrus peel and pine.
T: Very nice roasted malt, coffee and dark chocolate notes, very well balanced.
M: Creamy, medium bodied mouthfeel.
O: This beer was better than anything else I tried when I went there. I'm not sure why they don't brew it year round, but if you can find it, give it a try. It's pretty good.
