Cask Version. Dark brown color. Medium head. Aroma is malty, sweet and fruity. Medium bodied barley wine. Malts are fruity and slightly sweet. Hops are slightly bitter. Nicely balanced. No alcohol bite. A little mild and frankly kind of uninteresting. Mouthfeel is full and round. Finish is clean and smooth. Aftertaste is slightly bitter.
