Deep gold, white ring and wisps, darker than a usual pale lager but not much.
Aroma is light grain, white grape juice, apple cider vinegar hint.
Taste is faintly vinegary, faintly sweet apple juice, grain, and a faint, crisp grassy bitterness. It’s a decent beer, but very simple, light, a bit rough, and not even remotely good for an Oktoberfest. It is mostly like a very basic pale lager. It certainly is not recognizable as an oktoberfest and only really has character when compared to the same brewpub's State Street Stout.
